Are You Being Treated Differently At Work
Monday, February 8, 2010 5:40Believe it or not, office bullying is not uncommon and can happen in a number of ways and of course not only affect the person that is being bullied but everyone else in the office too. Here are just a few tips on rising up against that bully in your serviced office London
Self Confidence
Bullying can really have a serious effect on a persons self confidence and this doesn’t matter if you are young or old. Some of the strongest people in the world can still be broken into pieces by bullying. Self confidence can really come down if someone is thinking it is funny to make you the butt of all of the jokes and laughs in the office. The best way to cure something like this is to actually tell the person that it is getting to you. Sometimes there are people out there that will just continue doing it so you then must take it higher up in the company.
Stomach Aches And Headaches
45% of bullied people actually suffer from stress related health problems that can be anything from bad skin right the way to head and stomach aches. If someone is constantly giving you more work than you can handle then it is best that you simply say no to them. Going to the local GP can be a good idea as they can tell you if something is really up or if it is bullying.
Depression
This is something that also happens a lot and this time the figure is 41% of bullied employees end up with depression. Again the best solution to this is to go to your GP for advice as each individual is different.
Of course you could just pick up executive office furniture or executive furniture and whack them around the head with it, this often does the trick too.
